Lemony Gingery Goodness for What Ails You

I picked up strep throat on a recent flight, and a friend suggested this little concoction to help with the symptoms.

In a pan, add one whole sliced lemon
add one inch finely chopped fresh ginger

Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and let simmer for 10 minutes.

Poor in a cup, and add some honey to taste.

If you have raw, local honey, that's best, but if it's raw, be sure to let your drink cool quite a bit before adding it so as not to destroy the enzyme action.

I woke up coughing and with a sinus headache this morning, and both went away shortly after I drank this.  Coincidence?  Could be, but this drink is delicious, and the ingredients are all wonderfully good for you, so drink up.
